Providing a range of co-curricular opportunities is important to us because we value each child’s individual skills and interests, and we want to give every opportunity for students to grow and further their potential.

With a focus on nurturing and supporting the passions of our students, we have a range of lunchtime clubs and activities for students to participate in outside of the classroom. A strong co-curricular program provides students opportunities to be involved in debating, public speaking and Duke of Edinburgh, as well as a variety of musical, sporting and other cultural pursuits.

  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Yarn – Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students gather in a yarning circle for discussions and communal problem solving.
  • Art Studio – A place to bring in projects to work on or seek advice from peers. Year 12 only.
  • ASPIRE – Study assistance that provides an opportunity for Junior students to develop good study habits with the assistance of Senior students.
  • Book Club – For students who love reading to come together to discuss the books they are reading.
  • Code Club – A club run by students for students, with activities including coding competitions, robotics, drones and 3D printing.
  • Concert Band – College band that performs at school and in the community on a regular basis. Students need to own and be able to play a woodwind, brass, percussion or keyboard instrument.
  • Debating – Provides students with the ability to debate against students from other schools in the longest running debating competition available in the Sydney metropolitan area.
  • Drama Club – For students passionate about performing arts.
  • Garden Club – A collaborative group setup to maintain and develop the STEM Garden.
  • Hellenic Club – For those with an appreciation for Greek culture.
  • J-club – Year 7-8 students gather together to share their love of Japanese culture and language.
  • Junior Choir – For Year 7-8 students. All are welcome as the main goal is to have fun singing as a group.
  • K-Club – For those with an appreciation for Korean pop culture and language.
  • Math’s Support – Before school activity for students who need extra assistance with Maths work.
  • Mock Trial – Get practical experience in what it would be like to run a court case in a competitive setting.
  • Public Speaking – An opportunity to practice the art of rhetoric in a highly competitive, yet rewarding environment.
  • Rosary – A weekly Rosary where all are welcome to attend.
  • Rostrum Voice of Youth – national speaking competition providing students an opportunity to gain experience and confidence in expressing their views and communicating a message.
  • Science Club – Experiments and activities to engage students with a passion for Science.
  • Senior Choir – Choir for experienced Senior students.
  • String Ensemble – String players of all levels and ages play classical and popular music. Open to students who have been undertaking lessons for a minimum of one year.
  • St Ursula’s Dance and Tap Company – Dance groups perform dances in a range of styles including contemporary dance, hip hop, tap and jazz.
  • Rock Workshop – Open to students in Years 7-12 who wish to explore contemporary popular music genres and playing techniques.
  • Ursula Voices – Membership to this performing group is via open audition to experienced vocalists in Years 9 – 12.
  • Voices of Tomorrow – Run by Year 12 students, where people of all year groups come together to discuss a variety of important current issues in a respectful way.
